GILFORD – Theodore Benoit “Ted” Bilodeau, 67, of 343 Old Lakeshore Road, died Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Lakes Region General Hospital.
He was born on April 23, 1948 in Laconia, the son of Benoit T. and Lucille (Maheux) Bilodeau. Ted worked for several years as a painter, most recently for Caroselli Painting. He loved golf, playing pool and was an avid hunter. Ted was a member of the Sons of VFW Post 1670 in Laconia, a member of the Sons of the American Legion Wilkins-Smith Post #1 in Laconia, the Laconia Elks #876 and the Laconia Rod & Gun Club.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Bilodeau of Gilford, his mother, Lucille Bilodeau of Laconia, one son, Theodore “T.J.” Bilodeau and his wife Cheryl of Laconia, one daughter, Tina Rogers and her husband Eddie of Virginia Beach, VA, four grandchildren; Brittni and Justin Bilodeau, both of Laconia and Tyler Rogers and Tianna Childress, both of Virginia Beach, VA, one brother, Ronald Bilodeau of Laconia, one sister, Linda Hyman of Salina, KS and three great-grandchildren; Kasey, Paislee and Alba.
There will be no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held at 10AM on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Garfield Street, Laconia. A celebration of Ted’s life will immediately follow the graveside services from 12 Noon to 4PM at the Laconia VFW Post 1670, 143 Court St, Laconia.
