Theresa V. (Vaillancourt) Gaudet, age 89 of Windham, NH and formerly of Salem, NH passed away on September 17, 2015 at Winham Terrace. Theresa was born on June 27, 1926 in Lawrence to the late Joseph and Odiana (Filion) Vaillancourt. Mrs. Gaudet was a former communicant of St. Anne’s Parish of Lawrence prior to its closing before she moved to Salem, NH. She retired after 29 years at Bell Labs in October of 1984. Theresa was an administrator for Silva Mind Control.
Theresa was the beloved wife of the late Richard Gaudet who was a P.O.W. during WWII. She was the dear sister of the late Loretta McCaulay, the late Raymond Vaillancourt and his late wife Lucienne who was a very close friend to Theresa, and the late Cecile Morin. Mrs. Gaudet was the devoted aunt of Carol Gaudet Snapp, William Gaudet, Diane Belliveau, Norman Gaudet, Ronald Vaillancourt, Robert Vaillancourt, the late Adrien Gaudet, the late Donald Gaudet, and the late Alfred Gaudet. She was the cherished fiancé of the late Bruno Matas.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen.
