Robert E. Marston, age 66, died suddenly in Northampton, Mass., Aug. 9.
Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Richard E. and Gloria (Jenkins) Marston. He attended Lynn Classical High School. He was a United States Air Force Veteran serving two tours of duty in Vietnam in the Red Horse Division and was badly wounded and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a member of the Patriot Guard Riders.
He is survived by one daughter, Alanus Marston of CA; a brother, Kevin Marston, and his wife, Belinda, of Yuba City, Calif.; two sisters, Kathleen Spats of Rochester, N.H., and Cheryl Bartlett and her husband, Paul, of Peabody; grandfather of 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Leslie Hersey.
Service information: Relatives and friends are invited to attended graveside services on Friday, Sept. 25 at 10 a.m. in Pine Grove Cemetery Vietnam Veterans Lot. We will meet at the Boston Street entrance at 9:45 a.m. The Patriot Guard Riders will meet at the NADWORNY FUNERAL HOME, 798 Western Ave., Lynn, at 9:30 a.m. and proceed to Pine Grove Cemetery.
