David A. Fairfield age 63 of Pawtucket, RI passed away suddenly at home September 13th. Born in Boston, he grew up in Roxbury and Boston and attended Boston Schools. He worked as an Electrician for IBEW Local 103 in Boston for 34 years before retiring in 2014. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and outdoorsman that taught his children to love the outdoors and fishing, hunting and camping. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and loved to laugh and joke and make others smile. Beloved husband of the late Cindy (Muckler). Father of Jason Fairfield of Woonsocket, RI, Justin Fairfield and his wife Debra of Scituate, RI, Rachael Fairfield of Hudson, N.H. and Jamie Fairfield of Buffalo, NY. Brother of Fred Fairfield and his wife Marilyn of Canton, Virginia Fairfield of Canton, Susan Fairfield of Hudson, NH and the late Robert M. Brother in law of Elaine Fairfield of Holbrook. Also survived by 6 grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Friday morning at 10. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial private. Dave worked as an Electrician for the IBEW Local 103 in Boston for 34 years before retiring in 2014. | |||||
