Maria dos Anjos Carvalho Rego, age 71, of Fall River, passed away September 13, 2015 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Santo António, alem Capelas, São Miguel, Açores, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Carvalho) Rego. She loved spending time with family, especially all her nieces and nephews. She also loved watching t.v. and her favorite shows were I Love Lucy and the Portuguese Mass.
Maria leaves behind her siblings Lucy Oliveira (husband John), Zelia Botelho (husband Luis), Connie Farias (husband Eddy), Georgina Marques (husband Manuel), Angelina Moniz and Frank Rego. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by Antone and John Rego.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Thursday here at 9:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Michaels Church at 10:30 A.M. Interment in St. Patricks Cemetery.
