Geraldine E. (Jackson) Damarell, age 78, of Norton, formerly of Foxboro passed away peacefully on Friday September 11, 2015 at Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island in Providence.
Born in Boston, MA on April 12, 1937, she was a loving daughter of the late John and Josephine (Munzing) Jackson. She grew up in Foxboro and was a graduate of Foxboro High School.
A dedicated homemaker to her adoring family, she had also worked as a solderer for over 10 years at Star Engineering in Foxboro, prior to retiring.
Gerry had made her home in Norton for over 50 years. Her favorite times spent were those with family and her best friend “Annie”.
She enjoyed sitting down to a good meal of lobster and steak, and also watching her favorite soap operas and the birds that visited her yard.
She is survived by her loving and devoted children Michael J. Damarell and his fiancé Isabel of Norton and Kathleen M. Fonseca and her husband Michael of Norton. She was the sister of Pauline Cataloni of Franklin, the late Joan Burton, and is also survived by her cherished 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, as well as her nieces and nephews. She was the former wife of the late John C. Damarell.
A graveside service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Thursday, September 17th at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1 Franklin St. in Mansfield.
