METHUEN – Gwendolyn J. (Barberio) Franciosa, 83 of Methuen, passed away Friday September 11, 2015 at Holy Family Hospital.
Born and educated in Haverhill, MA, she was the daughter of Joseph and Jennie (Spinola) Barberio was a graduate of Haverhill High School and received her nursing degree from St. Elizabeth’s in Brighton, MA. For 20 years, Gwendolyn was a registered nurse at Bon Secours/Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.
Gwendolyn, enjoyed knitting, painting and spending time with her family. “The best thing about her was her love for her cherished children and grandchildren”.
She was the widow of Anthony Franciosa, Jr., she is survived by her loving children, Jayne McRobbie and her husband Charles of Methuen, MA, Anthony Franciosa, III and his wife Deanne of Hampton Falls, NH, Laurie Ardizzoni and her husband Robert of Holland, MA and Kathleen Perrault and her husband Neil also of Methuen, MA; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00a.m. in St. Monica’s Church in Methuen, MA with burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
