Fall River …Stanley J. Czeczel, 97, of Fall River passed away at the Highlander Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Fall River a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Kokoszka) Czeczel and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
He was employed by Swank Manufacturer formerly of Attleboro, MA. He was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Church, Rockland Street, Fall River.
Mr. Czeczel enjoyed Polish culture and Polish music.
Survivors include 2 nieces Cynthia Iaciofano of Tiverton and Elaine Dzioba of Ledyard, CT as well as several nieces and nephews here as well as in Poland, several great nieces and great nephews. He was the brother of the late Nellie Urban and Jane Czeczel. He was uncle to the late Kenneth Urban and half-brother to the late Lena Bylciw, Barbara Borodenko, and Kathryn Papska.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Thursday at 10AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stanislaus Church, Rockland St., Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 9 - 10 AM at the BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 709 Broadway, Fall River.
