Shawn Mahaffey, age 30 of Methuen passed away on September 6, 2015 as a result of his addiction. Shawn was born in Methuen on March 29, 1985. He attended St. Monica’s School of Methuen and attended Timberland High School of Plaistow, NH. Shawn will be remembered as a hard worker, kind hearted, generous soul and loved by all. He will also be remembered for his great sense of humor. Shawn worked for Kevin Cote at KPC Landscaping (Thank You).
Shawn was the loving son of James Mahaffey of Salem, NH and Diane (Dustin) Yelle and her husband Kerry of Plaistow, NH. He was the devoted father of Dylan Mahaffey and Siara Huskey. Shawn was the dear brother of Courtney Yelle and Kerri Anne Yelle. He was the cherished grandson of Rosemary and Marlow Dustin, Eileen Hughes and the late Isabella and Jerry Mahaffey. Shawn is also survived by his longtime girlfriend Kim Huskey, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Friday, September 11, 2015 at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 7:00 PM immediately following the calling hours.
