Irving T. Hanson age 98 of Stoughton, formerly of Canton passed away September 7th at the Copley at Stoughton. Born in Barnstable, he was raised in Canton and graduated from Canton High School. He worked as a Mechanic at the family business Blue Hill Auto Repair for many years before retiring. Step-father of Cheryl Callahan and her husband Edward of Stoughton, Kathleen Clark of CT, and the late Patricia Bolais. Brother of Howard Hanson of Canton. Grandfather of Kevin Callahan of Whitman, John Clark of CA, Laura Clark of CT, Sean Santos, Michelle Souza and Joe Souza all of FL. Also survived by his former wife Betty Hanson of Taunton and many great grandchildren. Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral service at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Saturday afternoon at 1 pm. Visiting hours prior to the service from 11- 1 pm.
