Mrs. Therese (Houle) Becotte, 87 of Methuen died Sunday at Merrimack Valley Hospice House. Born in Lawrence to Joseph and Marie Louise (Dube) Houle, Mrs. Becotte had been an area resident all her life. She retired from Western Electric where she worked as a coil winder. Mrs. Becotte was a member of St. Lucy Parish, and the Rainbow club of St. Theresa. She also was a member of the former St. Anne Parish. The widow of Marcel P. Becotte, she is survived by four daughters; Rita Becotte of Methuen; Pauline and her husband William MacCarthy of Tamworth, NH; Sandra and her husband Robert Welch of Westford; Deborah and her husband Thomas Berube of Lawrence. Two sons; Ronald R. Becotte of Spokane Valley, WA; Gary M. Becotte and his wife Lisa of Hooksett, NH, one brother Lionel Houle of Salisbury, MA. There are 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
