Matthew P. Terrio passed away at the Somerville Hospital on Sunday Morning. He was 18.
A life-long Somerville resident, Matthew enjoyed hockey and baseball where his batting led his team to a championship. He enjoyed music and was preparing to enter the United States Marine Corps. Remembered for his infectious smile, he was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.


The cherished son of Paula (Peracchi) and the late Peter F. Terrio, he was the beloved brother of Michael and Gianna Terrio, both of Somerville. He leaves his beloved dog Tasha. Devoted grandson of the late Louis and Evelyn Peracchi and is survived by his grandparents Edward and Joan Terrio of Watertown. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Saturday September 5th at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
