Stefanina Lauretti died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center. She would have been 102 in October. Born and raised in Vallecorsa, Italy she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Antonette (Martuccio) Lorde.

Stefanina joined her husband Pasquale, in the United States, living in Boston’s West End and then moving to the North End. She was a devout, faithful and hardworking woman who was employed as a seamstress throughout her life. She was devoted to her family and friends. She cared for her late niece Valentina who came to the United States as a young woman. Stefanina’s husband Pasquale passed away in 1992. She eventually moved with her niece Valentina and her husband John Russolillo in Medford.

Predeceased by her husband Pasquale, nephew Michele and niece, Valentina, she is survived by her many loving nieces and nephews and their families.

Family and friends may visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, September 5th at 8:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 AM in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford. Entombment will follow at St. Michael Mausoleum, Roslindale.
