Owen, Kay (Reibert), 70, of Louisville went to be with her Heavenly Father Monday, August 31, 2015.
Kay was born August 20, 1945 to Norton Brooks and Elsie May Reibert in Clovis, New Mexico. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ and had retired from Bell South. She also volunteered at Dare to Care Food Pantry and Ministry United South Central Louisville.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, James H. Owen; two brothers, Douglas Lee Reibert (Debbie) and Donald Bruce Reibert (Cathy).
Funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M. Thursday.
Her burial will take place 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Kentucky Veteran Cemetery Central.
