Alice H. DiLorenzo, age 94, of Methuen and a former longtime resident of Woburn and Burlington passed away peacefully August 30th, following a short illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Stephen DiLorenzo. Born in Pictou County, Nova Scotia she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Annie Kirkham.

Alice came to the United States at the age of three and settled in Woburn with her family. Alice enjoyed working for many years as gift wrapper at the Filenes Department Store in the Burlington Mall. Her greatest joy was her family and nothing gave her more pleasure than when she was surrounded with those she loved. She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her late parents and husband she is predeceased by her daughter, Alice Collins, and sons, Antimo and Robert DiLorenzo. She is survived by her son, Lenny DiLorenzo and his wife Sue of Salisbury, daughter, Paula Jalbert and her husband Robert of Methuen. She was the loving grandmother of 15 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted in the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Wednesday, September 2nd, at 12 pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family prior to the service from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Alice's memory to the Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack St., Building 9, Lawrence, MA 01843.
