Jack Bernard Cozart, Sr.
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, August 30, 2015, Mr. Jack Bernard Cozart, Sr., 73, husband of Mrs. Penny Sue Cozart.
Mr. Cozart was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta, GA. He was a life member of the Acacia Lodge #315 AFM and a Shriner and Scottish Rite. Mr. Cozart was a Supervisor at Avondale Mill for 42 years. He had a love of music, garage sales and spending quality time with family and friends.
Family members in addition to his wife include sons: Jack Bernard “Mickey” Cozart, Jr., Jarrod Romine (Phillip Messer) and Chris Cozart (Vicki); daughter: Dayna Fortenberry; grandchildren: J.C. O’Brien (Jackie), Lauren Terrell (Robby), Adam Fortenberry (Annamay), Hunter Cozart, Bryan Cozart, Haylee Aldrich and Justin Cozart; several great grandchildren; several nieces; dear nephew: George Clements; and 2 dear friends: Laura Tarver and Royce Matthews.
A memorial service will be Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son.
