O.T. Howard, Jr.
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, August 29, 2015, at his home surrounded by family, Mr. Ollie Thornton Howard, Jr., 86, husband of 58 years to Mrs. Monna Lusk Howard.
Mr. Howard was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. He was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. Mr. Howard worked for Bellsouth for 35 years and the Department of Administrative Services with the State of Georgia for 10 years.
Family members in addition to his wife include daughters: Lori Warner (Wade) of Augusta, Joan Williams of Augusta and Jennifer McClintock (Scott) of Martinez; son: Clay Howard of Martinez; grandchildren: Amanda Howard Scouten, Deborah Howard Swager, Tim Howard, Andrew Lee Taylor, Alison Howard Parrish, Evan McClintock and Ty McClintock; 9 great grandchildren; sister: Louise Parham; aunt: Inez Roberts and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Chaplain Wayne Bruner officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
