Mr. Henry F. Lordan, a resident of Danvers, formerly of Medford and beloved husband of Betty L. (Cudmore) passed away suddenly at the Beverly Hospital on Wednesday, August 26, 2015. He was 80 years old.
Born in Somerville, Massachusetts, on August 10, 1935, he was the beloved son of the late Henry and Margaret (Kiley) Lordan. Henry was an Army veteran, entering the military at Boston on February 25, 1958 and receiving his honorable discharge from Ft. Devens on February 24, 1960. Mr. Lordan attained the rank of E-4 while in the Army. In civilian life, Mr. Lordan worked as a Medford Firefighter for more than 23 years. He enjoyed oil painting pictures for his friends and family and also loved to swim in his younger years. Henry was an avid Boston sports fan. He will be dearly missed.
Besides his beloved wife, Betty, he is survived by his loving children; Michael H. and his wife Pamela J. Lordan of Atkinson, New Hampshire, David H. Lordan of Danvers, Kerri A. and her husband Steven M. DiDonato of Rockport, Daniel H. and his wife Nicole M. Lordan of Malden, Mark H. and his wife Andrea M. Lordan of Beverly, James H.Lordan of Danvers, Erin K. and her husband LeMario Dotson of Beverly and the late Steven H. and Timothy H.Lordan. Devoted brother of Patricia MacAvoy of Dracut, Margaret Bowen of Reading, William and his wife Maureen of Reading and Timothy and his wife Jeanne of Middleton. Cherished grandfather of Jerald, Vincent, Brianna, Amber, Joseph, Jared, Ashlynne, LeMario, Jr. and Makenna. Dear great-grandfather of DeAndre. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held in Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Road, Medford, Saturday, August 29, 2015, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend.
