Josephine (Marino) DiJulia, long-time resident of Somerville, died Thursday, August 27. Raised and educated in Boston's North End, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Celia (Lapaina) Marino.

Josephine was the beloved wife of the late George J. DiJulia and the devoted mother of Joan Taddia and her husband Timothy of Somerville. She was the loving grandmother of Timothy Taddia and his wife Beth of Tewksbury, Marc Taddia and his wife Jennifer of Medford, Stacy Cameron and her husband Steve of Melrose, and the loving great grandmother of T.J., Kaylen, Shane, Tyler, Isabel Taddia, and Chase Cameron. Josephine was the cherished sister of the late Tana Orlando and her husband Peter, Rose Reader and her husband Andrew, and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours have been respectfully omitted.
