BOCA RATON, FL: Marilyn A. Sullivan, age 83, a resident of Boca Raton, FL, formerly of New Haven, CT, passed away on Wednesday evening, August 19, 2015.
Born and raised in New Haven, she was a daughter of John and Cecelia (Leonard) Sullivan, both of whom died in 1986. Marilyn was a graduate of Saint Mary’s High School in Fairhaven, and was employed throughout her career with the former Southern New England Telephone Company. She retired as Supervisor of Directory Services, and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Predeceased by her sister, Lucille Durkin, in 2014, she is survived by her nephew, Michael J. Durkin, Jr., his wife Stephanie, and their daughter, Alle Durkin, all of Natick.
Family and friends may gather at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, on Tuesday, September 1st at 9:00AM and proceed to a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick’s Church, 44 East Central Street, Natick, at 10:00AM. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery, Natick.
