SHREWSBURY-Gregson Lewis Cobb, 76, passed to eternal life on Monday, August 24, 2015 at home.
Greg is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirley (Tambolleo) Cobb and his beloved children; Daniel Cobb of Westborough, Donna Kewley and her husband Peter of Auburn, Diana Cobb and her fiance Mark Bombard of Hardwick and David Cobb and his wife Jessica of Jefferson. He also leaves seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Douglas Cobb, and an infant son.
He was born in Manhattan, NY, son of George E. and Adeline E. (Gough) Cobb, moved to Sterling, MA and graduated from Wachusett Regional High School. He then entered the U.S. Air Force, serving his country proudly during the Vietnam War, and continued to serve for 20 years. Greg worked several years at General Motors Corporation in Framingham and Spag's in Shrewsbury.
Greg was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Leominster Sportmen's Club and the Model T. Club. He was a talented craftsman, making many creative pieces, and he enjoyed history.
Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in the care of Callahan Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester.
