Audrey A. (Dutton) Birnstein of Plymouth died on August 25th in Life Care Center of Plymouth, She was the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Birnstein. Born in Boston on October 11, 1919 daughter of Thomas A and Ethel L. (Green) Dutton. Educated in the Plymouth Schools and a graduate of Plymouth High School Class of 1937. Audrey worked as a Secretary/Bookkeeper for Cobb & Drew Co in Kingston and later for A.L. Ellis Curtain Co. in Plymouth , she later went on to work as a clerk for the Plymouth Police Department, she also owned and operated Audrey’s Potato Salad which she ran out of her home for many years. Audrey was an active member of the Church of the Pilgrimage in Plymouth.
She was the mother of the late Jerry Birnstein and Joanne Birnstein and sister of the late Shirley Cavicchi. She is survived by her niece Suzanne Galletti and her husband Thomas of Kingston and Marianne Withington of Plymouth.
Funeral service on Friday at 10:00 am in the Church of the Pilgrimage Town Sq., Plymouth followed by burial in Vine Hills Cemetery in Plymouth. There are no visiting hours.
