Augusta, GA – Mary Landers Hooks, 79, entered into rest on Monday, August 24, 2015.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, August 28, 2015 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. Chapel with Rev. Earl Welch officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Survivors include two sons; John Michael “Mike” Landers (Cindy), Cary Phillip Landers (Teresa), one brother; Mercer Hill, five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Mrs. Hooks was preceded in death by her husband of 45 ½ years, John T. Landers, and her husband of 7 years, C. Clyde Hooks.
Pallbearers will be Chris Landers, Phillip Landers, Bryan Florence, and James Kitchens.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 27, 2015 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home.
