Joseph Bonaventura, of Somerville, passed away on August 18th. The devoted son of the late Joseph S. and Lena (DiCicco) Bonaventura, he was a loving father of Sheena Bonaventura of Somerville. He is survived by Sheena’s mother Linda Johanson and also leaves his sisters Marguerite Bonaventura, Jeanne Aiello and Maria Bonaventura. Joseph leaves many nephews and great- nephews and is also lovingly remembered by Ricky Sarro and John Pereira. Joseph was loved by his family and friends and respected by all.

A memorial mass will be celebrated in St. Catherine of Genoa Church, 179 Summer Street, Somerville, Saturday, August 29th at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
