Obituary

Judith Anne O’Leary, 65, of Nashua, NH died Sunday, August 23rd at her home. She leaves a sister, Joan F. O’Leary of Worcester; two nieces, Jessica Cortes and Katherine Cortes and her partner, Andrew Rojas; three nephews, Craig Cortes, Kevin Cortes and his wife, Emily, and Stephen Cortes; a great niece, Isabelle Rojas; two aunts; her former husband, Timothy E. Kesner, many cousins, and friends.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Edward and Pauline (Martunas) O’Leary. Judith graduated from South High School and David Hale Fanning Girls Trade School. Ms. O’Leary worked as a CNA for nursing homes in New Hampshire. She previously worked as a dental assistant in Worcester and worked as a social worker in Worcester after receiving her degree from Assumption College. Judith served nine years with the Army National Guard. Ms. O’Leary was known for her determination and positive outlook on life. Once she had her mind made up about something nothing stood in her way to get it accomplished.
The family would like to thank Tim and Diana and the staff with Home Health and Hospice Care especially, Sherry for the care and compassion they gave Judith during her illness.
Her funeral is Friday, August 28th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a Mass at 10:30 AM in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester. A calling hour will be held from 9:00 until 10:00 AM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Judith’s name to Veteran’s Inc., 69 Grove Street, Worcester, MA 01605 or to a food bank or veterans organization of your choice.
