Obituary

Mrs. Carole (Brennan) Curtis, a resident of Medford and former wife of the late Alan A. Curtis and her dear friend, Bob, passed away at the Golden Living Center in Malden on Tuesday morning August 18, 2015 comforted by family. She was 81 years old.
Born in Medford on December 24, 1933, she was the beloved daughter of the late John F. and Genevieve G. (Harney) Brennan. Mrs. Curtis was a graduate of Medford High School and had been employed by IBM for more than 26 years as a Switchboard Operator. She attended St. Joseph's Church in Medford, Carole enjoyed volunteering at the Courtyard Nursing Center in Medford. She loved visiting Foxwoods and was a lover of Flea Markets. She enjoyed listening to Elvis records. She will be dearly missed.
Carole is survived by her grandchildren; Jami Curtis, Tanya Bonfiglioli, Nadia Gonsalves and Lucie Curtis, great-grandchildren; Jackson, Dylan, Elodie, Ethan & Aidan, siblings; Dianne Driscoll of Medford, Maureen Marino and her husband Sam of Beverly and the late Raymond Brennan and many nieces and nephews including Shawn Driscoll who holds a special place in her heart. She was also the mother of the late Steven J. Curtis.
Her funeral service will be celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Thursday, August 27, 2015, at Noon. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend.
