Obituary

Mark J. Bissett, age 48, of Raynham, formerly of Taunton and Brockton, died August 21, 2015 at Morton Hospital after suffering a fatal heart attack. Mark was the beloved husband of Dawn M. (Irving) Bissett. Mark and Dawn were together for 29 years, the last 19 as husband and wife. He was born in LaJolla, CA, son of James Bissett and Dolores (Catrambone) (Bissett) Sullivan of Raynham. He was raised in Brockton and was a graduate of Brockton High School. Mark was employed by Shaws and worked in both the supermarket and warehouse for 18 years, and at the time of his death, had been employed at the Massachusetts State Lottery for the past 14 years. Marks passion was his Chevy Corvettes, and he was a member of the National Corvette Museum in Kentucky since 1999. He also loved spending time with his family, NASCAR, and taking road trips.
In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by his loving daughter, Victoria Bissett. He was the nephew of Paula Anderson of Whitman; cousin of Tracy Briggs and her husband Kevin, Collin and Cassidy Briggs, all of Whitman; son in law of Mary Ann and Douglas Tomm of Plympton, and brother in law of Leonard Irving of Plympton. Mark was the brother of the late Lynn Marie Bissett, and grandson of the late Joseph and Doris Catrambone.
A Funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 11am in Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman Street, Brockton followed by a private family burial at Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours are omitted.
