Annie M.A. (Willis) Pereira, age 90 of Fall River passed away August 20, 2015. Born in Portsmouth, England, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Alice Maud (Schroder) Willis, and the wife of the late Manuel Pereira.
She had worked as a seamstress at A & A Garment Co. for 47 yrs. and as a banquet waitress at Venus de Milo Restaurant for 35 yrs. Mrs. Pereira was a Past President and lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign War. Lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Am-Vets. A Member of Irish Heritage Association and the Elks-Emblem Club.
She is survived by her sister: Helena Huish of Bristol, England, and several nieces & nephews, and great nieces and nephews in England and the United States.
Her visitation will take place on Thursday, Aug. 27th from 9-10 A.M. in St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 315 Warren St., Fall River, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery.
