NEW BEDFORD Sandra M. Andrews, age 51 years, of New Bedford and formerly of Falmouth, died Sunday August 16, 2015 at St. Lukes Hospital in New Bedford after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Falmouth, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary (Roderick) Andrews and lived in the New Bedford area much of her life.
She is survived by two sons: Tyeson Gomes and Torey Gomes. 2 randchildren: Tayanah Gomes and Elijah DaCosta. 3 sisters: Vivian Sharpe, Linda Basey and Wendy Andrews. 3 brothers: Nelson, Raymond and Stephen Andrews, many nieces and nephews, and her longtime companion Lance Lopes, many half brothers and half sisters,
Sandra is the sister of the late Elizabeth Gomes, Carolyn Roderick, Ralph Andrews, Lawrence Andrews and Dorrie Barrows.
Her funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, Aug. 29th at 11:00 A.M. in St. Anthony Catholic Church, 167 East Falmouth Road, Falmouth, Ma., with burial in the adjacent cemetery.
