Olimpia Barros Marcelino (64) of Brockton died Aug 19th in the Lahey Clinic, Burlington. She was the wife of the late Alberto Marcelino.
She was born in Cova Feiguira, Fogo, Cape Verde daughter of late Manuel and Violanta Viera. Olimpia enjoyed cooking, listening to traditional Cape Verdean music, attending Mass, and entertaining friends and relatives.
Survivors include 3 sons, Mario of Brockton, Joao and Manuel Marceliono both of Fogo, 2 daughters, Adelina and Liga Marcelino both of Fogo, 3 brothers Joao, Nene and Reco all of Fogo, 3 sisters, Dena, TuTu ,and MiMa all of Fogo, 7 grandchildren.
Funeral services from the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court St, Brockton Monday Aug. 24th at 8AM followed by a Mass in St, Edith Stein Church at 9AM. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation Sunday Aug. 23rd from 4-8PM,
