GILFORD – Lois Ann Annis, 72, of 343 Old Lake Shore Road, died Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Lakes Region General Hospital.
She was born on October 27, 1942 in Laconia, the daughter of the late Alfred J. and Henrietta A. (Beil) Porter. Lois worked for several years as an assistant manager for Kmart. She volunteered at Lakes Region General Hospital and enjoyed ceramics, NASCAR, monopoly, knitting and crochet. Lois loved her family and her pets.
She is survived by her husband, Mark V. Annis of Gilford, three daughters; Bette Barton of Alton Bay, Toni Theberge of Franklin and Kerry Deal of Laconia, one step-son, Kyle Annis of Florida, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and three sisters; Agnes Mulligan of Alabama, Lorraine DeForge of Belmont and E. Bonnie Herlihy of Laconia. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers; Robert and Roger Porter and one grandchild, Kayl’e Marie Lockwood.
Calling hours will be held from 11AM to 1PM on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance. A memorial service will immediately follow at 1PM, also at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
