Obituary

Dennis Stevens, age 56, of Natick passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Susan (Vaughan) Stevens, sharing 19 years of marriage.

Born and raised in Natick, Dennis was the son of Mary (Roberts) Kinsman and the late Walter Stevens. Attending the Natick School system, he was a graduate of Natick High School Class of 1977. Always seen on the sidelines of his daughters sporting events, he was a true Natick Redman at heart and was a die-hard Boston sports fan who also enjoyed a career as a professional bowler. He was also well known as an assistant manager at Fannon’s Liquors.

Besides his wife, Dennis leaves behind his cherished daughters’ Julia Marie and Bridget Ann. He is also survived by his siblings; Ken Stevens and his wife Bonnie of Natick, Kathy Caouette and her partner Bob Marin of Natick, Karen Murphy and her husband Tom of Natick, Walter Stevens and his wife Liz of Danvers, and Jeanne Melanson and her husband Doug also of Natick, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Tuesday, August 18 at 10:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. in the Parish of the Good Shepherd, at St. Zephrins Church, 99 Main Street (Rte 27), Cochituate Village, Wayland.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, August 17, 2015 from 4:00 and 8:00 P.M.

Interment will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, South Natick.
