Margaret E. (Kovacs) Palumbo died peacefully on August 11,2015. She was 82 years old.
Margaret was born and raised in Everett and a longtime resident of Malden.
Margaret was the devoted wife of over 50 years to the late Henry Palumbo. She was the beloved mother of Angela Jones and her husband Steven of Peabody, Margaret Anderson and her husband James of Goffstown, NH, Donna Walsh and her husband Michael of Malden, and Henry Palumbo and his wife Paula of Saugus. Margaret was the dear sister of Mary Henniger of MD, and the late John Kovacs and Theresa Rocco. She was the cherished grandmother of Adam, Lindsay and Lisa Jones, Jessica, Lucas, and Scott Anderson, Brendan, Christopher and Megan Walsh, Maxwell, John Henry and Rachel Palumbo, and great grandmother of Tyler, Evelyn and Benjamin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 11:30a.m.-1:00p.m. on Friday August 14th from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden Followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
