HODGKINS, Barbara E. (Roche), of Winthrop, passed away at the Whidden Hospital on August 11, 2015. She was 78. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Hodgkins Jr. Born in Brookline; she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Dorothy M. (Pons) Roche. Dear sister of Dorothy Manning and her husband Larry of Wakefield, Claire Fitzgerald and her husband Robert of Centerville, Thomas Roche and his wife Lesley of Stoughton and the late Margaret Frase. Sister-in-law of Donald Hodgkins and his wife Florence of Winthrop. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held in the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. Winthrop, on Friday, Aug 14, at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will follow in Winthrop Cemetery.
