LACONIA – Beatrice N. Carman, 85, of Summer Street, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia.
Beatrice was born on February 11, 1930 in Augusta, ME, the daughter of the late Raymond and Jean (Johnson) Newell. Beatrice worked as a laboratory technician and special hematologist. She enjoyed playing cards with friends at the Senior Center and she loved flowers.
Beatrice is survived by her son Nels Carman of Laconia, a daughter Laura Benavidez of Albuquerque, NM, a sister Mona Fournier of Lakeport, NH, several Grandchildren and a few Great Grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Beatrice was predeceased by her husband Delno H. Carman.
