Linda T. Distefano of Plymouth formerly of South Boston died peacefully on August 8; she is the beloved mother of Laurie Stevens and her husband Shawn Stevens of North Andover. Cherished grandmother of Samantha and Zachary Stevens. Born in Quincy on May 15, 1948 a daughter of the late Patrick and Nellie Distefano. Linda was educated in South Boston where she grew up and later moved to Plymouth. She had a great love for animals and was a volunteer with the Friends of the Plymouth Pound.
