Mr. Richard H. Hebert, of Taunton, died Friday, August 7 in Morton Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (McClellan) Hebert. He was born 72 years ago in Taunton, the son of the late Wilfred and Blanche (Nattinville) Hebert. He was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to his retirement, Richard had been employed as Plant Manager for Thompson Products of Lakeville for 16 years. He was previously employed as Plant Manager for the Foxboro Company for 30 years. Following retirement, Richard assisted his wife with the operation of Kathy’s Kozy Day Care in Taunton. He was a former member of the Italian Naturalization Club. He enjoyed playing softball, fishing, visiting casinos, Boston sports teams, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he leaves: 2 sons: Richard E. Hebert of New Bedford, and Patrick R. Hebert of Taunton; 3 daughters: Stacey Mailhot of Riverside, R.I., Allyson Hebert of Fall River, and Megan Frizado of Taunton; 6 sisters: Theresa Benevides of Somerset, Irene Fernandes of Lakeville, Eleanor DeMoura of E. Taunton, Louise Renaud of Taunton, Maryann Nichols of Dighton, and Priscilla Neary of Taunton; 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Richard was also the brother of the late Wilfred J. Hebert and Wilfred N. Hebert.
A Funeral Service will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral home, 467 Bay Street, on Tuesday, August 11 at 8:00 P.M. Visiting Hours will be held prior to the Service, Tuesday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
