Alice “Punky” Chisholm died at Newfield House on August5, 2015. She was born in Plymouth May 29, 1920 and graduated from Plymouth High School. Following graduation she went to the Sargent College of Boston University to become a physical therapist. She joined the Army as a Lieutenant and served as a physical therapist in the Pacific during World War II, Upon her return, she established her own physical therapy practice in Plymouth. She spent every summer of her life living on her favorite place in the world, Clark’s Island. She leaves behind her niece, Bonnie Hobson and her husband Jack, two great nephews, David and Zack Hobson and their children, all of Plymouth.
A gathering and celebration of her life will be held on August 18th, 2015 at the Plymouth Yacht Club from 4 to 7 p.m. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Standish Humane Society, the Helping Hands for the Plymouth Animal Shelter, or any animal charity of your choosing.
