Lucy O. Mirlocca passed away peacefully at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital on Wednesday morning. She was 92. Raised in Canonsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Chauncy and Michele (Burlone) DiCio. A Medford resident since her teen years, Lucy was a devoted wife mother and grandmother. She enjoyed the company of her family and friends and was a wonderful neighbor. While her children were in school, she was active with parent teacher groups. Many fondly remember her from the years she worked at D’Errico – McGlynn Florist in Medford Sq.


The beloved wife of Marco Mirlocca, she was a devoted mother to Steven Mirlocca and his wife Christine of Manchester, NH, Marilyn Morgan and her husband Robert of Wakefield, Michele Mirlocca of Ludlow and Mark P. Mirlocca and his wife Maryanne of Manchester, NH. She was a loving grandmother of Glenn, Mark and Nicholas as well as a loving great-grandmother of Lucy. She was the dear sister of Thelma DeLucia of Medford.

Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Saturday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family on Friday, 4 – 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Lucy's name to a charity of One's choice.
