Judith "Judy" Messenheimer, a 14 year resident of Medford and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly at her home in Medford on Tuesday, August 3, 2015. She was 58 years old.
Judy was born in Kingston, New York on February 5, 1957, a daughter of Doris (Joyce) Messenheimer and Paul Messenheimer. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1975. Judy has been working as the Office Manager at Barletta Engineering Company in the Boston area for over 20 years. She enjoyed cooking and most importantly shopping.
Judy is the beloved daughter of Doris (Joyce) Messenheimer of Charlestown and the late Paul Messenheimer. She is the devoted sister of Paula Messenheimer and her husband Raymond Harris of Nashville, Tennessee, John Messenheimer and his wife Jody of Hudson, New Hampshire, Carol Messenheimer of Charlestown, Linda Halley of Saugus and Brian Messenheimer and Sally O'Neill of Wakefield. She is the loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She is the beloved great-aunt to Owen Halley and Corinne Halley.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Judy's Funeral on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 10 A.M. Her burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Visiting hours will be on Friday, August 7, 2015 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
