Leonilde Cabral Neves, age 79, formerly of Lindsey St. Fall River, passed away on Aug. 4, 2015. Born in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel, Açores, she was the wife of the late Jose L. Neves and the daughter of the late Gil Pedro & Maria daGloria (Medeiros) Cabral. Prior to retiring, Leonilde worked as a Machine Operator for the former Anderson Little Co. and San Toro Mfg. Co. She was a parishioner of St. Michael’s Church and participated in the Convivio.
She is survived by her daughters: Isabel Moura of Plainville, MA and Brina Neves of Medina, TN; 3 granddaughters: Rachel, Jessica, & Sonia; her brother Arthur Pedro Cabral and wife Crizalida; nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Friday with a wake from 9-10:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael’s Church, Essex Street at 11:00 A.M.
