FALL RIVER … Lesley K. Lopes, 49, of Fall River passed away Friday, July 31, 2015.
She was the wife of Lynne Holt of Fall River.
Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Louise Lopes and had been a lived in Fall River most of her life.
She had an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice and was working toward her license in substance abuse counseling.
Lesley was a friend of Bill W. and was an avid boxing fan as well as a boxer herself. She played Woman’s Professional Football for the New England Intensity, coached for the Fall River Falcons and coached boxing at Striking Beauties. She loved helping and working with children, was a dedicated foster parent and enjoyed cooking.
Along with her wife, survivors include 3 sons: Johnny Holt Lopes, Austin Holt Lopes, Adam Holt Lopes and a daughter: Jordis Holt Lopes, all of Fall River, a sister Debbie Walker of Fall River, several nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late David Reis and Bobby Walker.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday at 8PM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St., Fall River. Calling hours will be Friday from 5 - 8 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donation may be to the family in care of Lynne Holt.
