Dolores M. "Mickey" (Hammond) Bartlett, 84, of Gorham, passed away on Saturday August 1, 2015 at the Coos County Nursing Home. She was born in Waltham, MA on September 17, 1930 and lived most of her life in Berlin. She had worked as a health care worker and was a member of the United Church of Christ Congregational in Berlin. She was also a member of the Mt. Washington Valley Art Association, the Western Maine Art Group Association in Norway, ME, was on the Summer Art Show Network for many years, was a substitute art teacher at BHS and also gave private art lessons.
Family includes her daughter Leslie Morrissette and husband Steve of Gorham, NH; granddaughters Kelly McCosh of Lewiston, ME and Karen McCosh of Gorham, NH; a great-grandson Liam O’Rouke; former son-in-law Steven McCosh of Berlin; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Otis Bartlett.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday August 6, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH. Interment will be in the New City Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 PM. Anyone who wishes may make a donation to the Northwoods Home Health and Hospice Services in her memory.
