BURLINGTON, VT – Michael J. Blaisdell, 67, of Burlington, Vermont and a former resident of Springfield, was Called Safely Home on Tuesday, June 2, 2015. He passed into Eternal Life at his home surrounded by all the memories he loved and cherished. He was born in Amesbury, Massachusetts on January 2, 1948, a beloved son of Nora T. (Dahdah) Blaisdell of Indian Orchard, MA and the late Stanley M. Blaisdell who was Called Home on September 21, 2007. He lived in Springfield for many years before moving to Burlington, VT. Besides his loving mother, he leaves his loving sister, Cathy Blaisdell of Fayetteville, NC; his three dear uncles, David Blaisdell and his wife, Barbara, of Seekonk, MA, Richard Blaisdell of Newburyport, MA and Joseph P. Dahdah of Wilbraham; his three nephews; and his many cousins and extended members of the Dahdah and Joulwan families. His relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Saint Anthony Maronite Catholic Church, 375 Island Pond Road, Springfield, MA 01118. His burial will held be at a later date at Saint Michael Cemetery, Springfield.
