Robert A. Machado, 67, of New Bedford died July 30, 2015 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.
He was the husband of Jeanne E. (Vigeant) Machado.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Antone R. and Angelina (DeMello) Machado, he lived in Dartmouth and New Bedford all of his life.
He was formerly employed by Calvin Clothing and St. Luke's Hospital until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife; 2 daughters, Karen Washburn and her husband Michael of Attleboro and Lisa Machado and her companion Christopher Correia of New Bedford; a brother, Brian Machado and his companion Fumiyo Okubo of Nashua, NH; and several nieces and nephews.
His Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 7th at 10 AM in Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at St. James Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted.
