TEWKSBURY - Man Paul Singh was born in Pakistan and raised in India. Married for over 50 years to his beloved wife Surjit Kaur, who departed May 2014, they are now reunited. He leaves behind his beloved children, son Mr. Jasbir Singh and his wife Kanchana; daughter Baljit K. Jackson and her husband Stanton; and his late daughter Anupam Trombino and her husband Mark. His beloved grandchildren: Tarun Singh, Paul & Simran Jackson and Priya Trombino. He also leaves behind three brothers, two sisters and a host of nieces, nephews and relatives, in US & India.
He came to the US in 1977, for a better opportunity for his family. He worked hard as a machinist. Their tiny apartment in Woburn served as a home. Later he moved the family to Medford, where he watched his children become successful adults. Family was most important to him next to his religious beliefs and faith. He was respected, admired, and was a generous man.
Relatives and friends will be received Saturday August 1st, 2015 from 9:00am - 10:00am I the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) Tewksbury Center, immediately followed by a funeral procession to Linwood Crematorium, 41 John Ward Avenue, Haverhill, MA. A Sikh mass will conclude at the Chapel on the Linwood Crematorium premises, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
A Gurbani Keertan prayer ceremony will be held at Sikh Gurudwara, Sunday, August 2nd 3:30pm - 5pm.
The family acknowledges with deep appreciation the many prayers, messages, and other expressions of kindness shown during this time. Your thoughts and deeds are encouraging and your prayers will enable us to face the future with confidence knowing that WaheGuru knows best.
