Obituary

Plymouth- Born July 31, 1927 in Portsmouth England, Gladys A. (Saunders) Seaverns, of Plymouth, formerly, of Medford and Randolph, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2015, at the home of her daughter Lynne at the age of 87. She was the wife of the late Dana L. Seaverns.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Lynne A. (Seaverns) Gerenia and her husband Allan, Lori J.(Seaverns) Banning and her husband Tom and her son Dana S. of Plymouth. Gladys also leaves behind her grandchildren, Erico (wife Jhoanne), Melani and Joshua Gerenia, Jenna and Joslyn Banning and David Seaverns. She is survived by sisters-in­-law
Jane Splitz and Lynn Seaverns, and many nephews and nieces.
Gladys was born in Portsmouth, England arriving to the United States via the Queen Mary as a child. She was the daughter of the late Albert C.W. Saunders and Dorothy (James) Saunders and sister of the late Alberta Saunders. Gladys and her husband lived in Randolph, MA for many years working for the Town of Randolph School System, before moving to Plymouth 40 years ago. She enjoyed sewing, tole painting, sailing out of Plymouth harbor on their sailboat “C’est la Vie”, cooking, gardening, spending time with her family and dog Dakota, even knitting for the fashion designer Susan Bristol.
