Jack J. Vultaggio
Retired Trafalga Investments Director of Operations

TEWKSBURY: Jack J. Vultaggio, age 78, a resident of Tewksbury for 47 years, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.
He was the beloved husband of Stephanie (Marino) Vultaggio, with whom he celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary on April 23, 2015.
Born in Chelsea on December 17, 1936, he was the son of the late Gioacchino Vultaggio and the late Serafina (Lacasia) Vultaggio.
Jack was raised in Medford. He attended St. Clements Parochial School and graduated from Medford High School in 1954.
In 1959, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during peacetime with Company D, First Battalion while stationed at Fort Sam Houston in Texas.
Following his military service, he attended Bentley College, where he majored in Accounting.
He resided in Medford until moving to Tewksbury in 1968.
Jack was a communicant of St. William’s Parish in Tewksbury and a member of the Tewksbury Golden Age Club and Senior Drop-In-Center.
Jack worked in the investment field for many years retiring in 1998.
When his children were younger, he enjoyed coaching in the Tewksbury Pop Warner Football Program and attending all of their sporting events.
He and his family enjoyed traveling extensively throughout New England to the mountains and the coast.
In his later years, he volunteered extensively with R.A.R.A. (Recreational Adult Resource Association), attending socials and playing pool at the Tewksbury Senior Center, and especially loved doting on his beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Jack J. Vultaggio, Jr. of Groton, Stephen Vultaggio of Townsend, Peter P. Vultaggio and his wife Joanne of Tewksbury, and Stephanie M. Robinson and her husband Keith of Kensington, NH; ten much loved grandchildren, Marianne Aprile and her husband Jonathan, Cailtlin, Chrissy, Stephen, Janelle, Catie, Jack and Ryan Vultaggio, and Kolton and Ty Robinson; two great grandchildren, Brody and Brielle Aprile; also numerous extended family members.
Calling hours are Thursday, July 30, from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. His funeral will be held Friday, July 31, at 9 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
