Gizella C. (Bakos) Betak, 96, of Canton formerly of Franklin, died July 24, in the Golden Living Center in Norwood. She was the wife of the late Ferenc Betak who died in 1991.
Born in Budapest, Hungary, January 12, 1919, the daughter of the late Geza ad Margit (Bakos) Bakos, Mrs. Betak was raised and lived in Hungary until moving to Franklin in 1956. She had lived in Canton since 2001.
A homemaker, she is survived by her daughter Gizella M. Betak of Canton. She was the mother of the late Peter Betak.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 29, in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin at 10:00a.m.
Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
