Dolores T. Sasso passed away peacefully at the Aberjona Nursing Center in Winchester. She was 81. A Medford resident for most of her life she was the daughter of the late Louis and Carmela (Aufiero) Puopolo. She worked as a secretary with the federal government but was most interested in her caring for her family.

The beloved wife of the late Robert J. Sasso Sr who passed away in 1992, she was a devoted mother to Robert J. Sasso, Jr of Somerville, Marylee Marino and her husband Nunzio, Gerard B. Sasso and Timothy A. Sasso, all of Medford. She was a loving grandmother to 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was a dear sister of Louella London of Virginia and the late Anthony Puopolo as well as a dear sister-in-law of Theresa Sasso of Medford.

Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
